We worked with Burning Red Design to create a new Village Wine & Spirits in Blockhouse Bay. Replacing their small & run-down existing premises, this is a flagship store for the Portage Trust. We added a new entrance at the back of the shop which allows customers access from the carpark. This meant some structural changes and adding in a staircase from the carpark into the store. Inside the store, we delivered all the cabinetry & joinery required for retail merchandise. This included shelving and cabinetry for wine storage, sales counters, a cool room, electrical and plumbing installation, as well as high security set up around the store.
The fit-out included a design feature for the store; low hanging timber brackets from the ceiling, suspended by tension ropes. The store was completed with an installation of a tasting bar for customers to try out drinks & specials before purchasing.
