Based in Commercial Bay, Ghost Donkey is a Mexican-inspired tequila and mezcal bar. The concept comes from international designers, AvroKo, who opened the award-winning flagship Ghost Donkey in New York.
We collaborated with local architecture firm, Mitchell Addison, to deliver the AvroKO design for the Auckland bar. Our cabinet makers and joiners expertly crafted all elements of the fit out which was delivered with precision by our installers on site; including several thousand LED lights draping across the rooftop, and the iconic donkey standing front and centre by the entrance!
Ghost Donkey serves traditional Mexican snacks made of high quality ingredients to go with the mezcal and tequila-based cocktails. The bar provides an authentic Mexican experience as a vibrant bar that embodies the heart and soul of Mexican hospitality.
