Overview

Fitting out a retail store inside a live international airport terminal means working around security, tight access and a terminal that never closes. Complete Construction delivered Comvita’s flagship store inside Auckland International Airport’s international terminal. The fitout has curved bespoke joinery, integrated lighting and sustainable finishes, built to a high standard in a secure, trading terminal.

How we solved it

We manufactured off site and delivered just in time to work within the airport access limits while keeping full quality control. Procore kept everyone coordinated in real time, and close liaison with airport staff kept disruption down.

Outcome

Comvita opened on time and to an award winning standard. It won the RED Awards Supreme Award, plus the Montavion Digital Integration and Datum Innovation Excellence awards. Few builders can fitout a store inside a live international airport terminal, and Comvita is proof Complete Construction can.
