Overview

Putting a modern lacquered kitchen into a period villa means matching new joinery to old detailing. Complete Construction delivered bespoke cabinetry for a villa renovation on Kings Road in Auckland for a private client. The scope covered a lacquered MDF kitchen, timber joinery and sliding doors to open up the indoor outdoor flow.

How we solved it

We prefabricated the cabinetry off site for finish quality, then installed the sliding doors and timber elements to fit. Working with Izzard Design kept the look and the technical detail aligned.

Outcome

The cabinetry modernised the villa while keeping its heritage character, with a cohesive kitchen and clean timber transitions. Kings Road shows how Complete Construction delivers residential joinery for heritage homes in Auckland.
