H&M Rollout.
Auckland, Hamilton & Christchurch
- 100/100
- NZ's first perfect H&M brand score
- 16+
- containers of joinery staged centrally
Overview
Rolling out a global fashion brand across several cities means one standard has to hold on every site. Complete Construction delivered four large format H&M stores across New Zealand as part of the brand’s national rollout, in Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch. The stores ran up to 3,000m² and multi level, each in a high traffic retail centre.
Key challenges
- Coordinating global design specifications across several sites.
- Managing different site conditions and services layouts.
- Meeting fast track handover dates.
How we solved it
Under a Design and Build contract, we partnered with Ignite Architects to localise H&M’s international standards. We also set up a central FF&E process, using our Auckland factory to receive, sort and stage more than 16 containers of joinery and fixtures across the sites.
Outcome
Every store met H&M’s global standards, and Complete Construction earned New Zealand’s first perfect 100 out of 100 for safety, quality and delivery. The rollout shows how we deliver multi site retail under Design and Build.
