Overview

Fitting out 139 rooms in a five star hotel to a condensed install programme takes a joinery package planned a year out. Complete Construction delivered the joinery for 139 guest rooms at the InterContinental Auckland on Queen Street, engaged by LT McGuinness. We manufactured veneer wall panels, Italian marble vanities, timber media units and upholstered headboards in our Māngere facility and installed them to brand standard.

How we solved it

Cabinetry manufacturing started a year ahead, with early procurement of key finishes locking in cost and supply. A condensed, floor by floor install kept the sequence tight, with QA tracked digitally from factory to final sign off.

Outcome

The joinery was delivered to brand standard across all 139 rooms. The project won a Property Council Excellence Award and shows why global hotel brands choose Complete Construction for large hotel joinery packages.
