Overview

Refurbishing a hotel’s ground floor while guests keep checking in means keeping the noise and mess away from them. Complete Construction refurbished the ground floor of the Novotel at Auckland Airport for Tainui. The scope was a full upgrade of the bar, restaurant, commercial kitchen and reception, planned to improve guest comfort and flow.

How we solved it

We prefabricated the fitout elements off site to speed up delivery. Works were sequenced carefully to keep on site disruption down, and we coordinated with hotel staff to stay clear of peak guest times while holding the programme.
