SkyCity Flare Bar.

Overview

Fitting out a bar inside a casino that trades 24 hours a day means installing around the tables, never instead of them. Complete Construction delivered the full fitout of Flare Bar at SkyCity on Federal Street in Auckland. The scope covered bar joinery, custom cabinetry with integrated lighting, decorative panelling, specialist finishes and a bespoke gold chainlink feature ceiling, splitting the venue into two zones.

• Running a full interior fitout in a casino open 24 hours a day.
• Coordinating Italian marble slabs with a unique pattern inlay.
• Building a bespoke gold chainlink feature ceiling to exacting detail.

How we solved it

Off site prefabrication kept the joinery and feature elements accurate and quick to install. Brass trim, marble accents and veneer panelling were detailed for precision, and installation was staged outside peak hours in close coordination with SkyCity’s team.

Outcome

Flare Bar was delivered on programme across its two zones, pairing bold finishes with careful joinery. Flare Bar is a hospitality fitout delivered inside a live 24 hour venue.
